Thank You for Your Support!
Everyone here at Tennessee Valley Outreach Mission would like to thank Representative Bill Dukes, House District 8, and the Morgan County Legislative Delegation for their generous $2,000 grant.
This money will be used to provide food, shelter, and clothing for the homeless. It will also be used to help with the day-to-day expenses: lights,water, and food items (i.e., milk, eggs, meat, and butter) that are needed for daily operation here at TVO.
Summertime Means Grilling Time
There's no mistaking it, Summertime is here!!! The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the mosquitos and fish are biting. Most of us spend a lot more time outdoors this time of yeat, and one of the biggest things everyone enjoys is Grilling!
Grilling seems to be in the blood of nearly every man, and the guys here at TVO mission are no exception. Some like to grill more than others, but one thing is certain. They all like to eat it!
Before we list our "needs and wants," the staff, residents, and board members would like to thank each and every one of you who has prayed, donated money, food, and other items and time to the TVO mission. It means a lot to the residents knowing that people out there in the community do care about them.
We try to make all our residents feel at home here. Without your contributions and support we would not be able to accomplish this. Again, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Without all of you we wouldn't be here today.
